Suparna Mitra is Titan’s new Marketing Head

Titan Company Ltd, a Tata Group firm, has promoted Regional Business Head-Southern region Suparna Mitra as the Head-Marketing for Watches and Accessories Division. Mitra has replaced Ronnie Talati.

Titan Company Ltd, a Tata Group firm, has promoted Regional Business Head-Southern region Suparna Mitra as the Head-Marketing for Watches and Accessories Division. Mitra has replaced Ronnie Talati.

She will report to Ravi Kant, Chief Executive Officer of Watches and Accessories division. While, Titan's current General Manager Sales and Marketing (Eye wear division) Biju Alexander has been elevated as Regional Business Head at the place of Mitra.

Meanwhile, Titan has reported 15.19 per cent increase in standalone net profit at Rs 190.73 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2014. It had reported a standalone net profit of Rs 165.57 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.

Its net sales were at Rs 2,898.28 crore during October-December quarter of 2014-15, up 9.35 per cent in camparison with Rs 2,650.46 crore in the year-ago period, Titan said in a filing to the BSE.
