Bachpan in an expansion mode

Bachpan, the pre-school brand of S K Educations (P) Ltd, is planning to open 100 new pre-schools across the country by this year end. This expansion will be via franchising. Presently, the brand runs 650 pre-schools (all franchised) across 22 states in the country.

The pre-school brand aims to reach not only Tier-I, II or III cities but also towns with an average of one lakh population.

For setting up a Bachpan pre-school the minimum area required is about 1,500–2,000 sq. ft along with an overall investment of Rs 5.5–10 lakh depending on city and location.
