Graduate and Post Graduate in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech. and M.Tech.) from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh). Worked in various capacities in the Multinational and Govt. of India, Ministry of MSME, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi.

Presently working as Director in MSME-Development Institute, Ministry of MSME, Okhla, New Delhi and looking after the promotion and developmental activities of MSME’s of Delhi & NCR. Visited several countries across the world like United Kingdom, Russia, Thailand, Turkey, Nigeria, Senegal etc. for implementing MSME activities on behalf of Govt. of India. Worked in various offices of MSME-DIs such as Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana from the last 30 years.

He has also contributed in preparation of guidelines of various schemes and programmes in promotion and development of MSMEs in the Country. The schemes prepared by him are in the area of Technology up gradation, wastage reduction. Quality Control, Marketing Assistance & Export promotion, Credit, designing of new products, Innovation in addition to promote entrepreneurship among young unemployed youth.
