Entrepreneurship Speakers

Mr. Raj Grover,
Chief Mentor, Kangaroo Kids Education Limited

Raj Grover is a strategic business leader and proficient CEO turned entrepreneur with extensive experience across global corporations viz. Nestle, Wrigley’s, HMV and the Rupert Murdoch Group. In his illustrious career, Raj has led multi-unit India and International operations; build global brandsand incubated business from concept to scale.

Early 2000, Raj realized the growing aspirations of young globe trotting executives and in alliance with KKEL-Billabong, introduced a model of affordable, up-market, ‘Boutique Concept’ of international schools. Few years later, Raj took another leap, this time in the Affordable Low Cost Schools, demonstrating a whole new opportunity to build high quality, low cost, profitable schools.

Both these initiatives have been applauded as trendsetters, creating a whole new segment as independent, most sought after and commercially scalable models, inspiring many entrepreneurs and established brands in the education sector.

Raj is of the firm belief that the solution to all global issues; economic and social, present and future depends on a responsible and effective schooling model. He believes, for this dream to be a reality there is an urgency to re-define the role of schooling and make it Affordable, Accountable and Accessibleacross income class and segments.

"The change begins with me."
"I am going to clean up politics."
"I am not looking for a job. I will create jobs."
"You see a challenge. I see opportunity."

National pride, or the spirit that binds us together as a
collective soul, does not have a permanent home in our
hearts and mind. For most of us it responds to the
stimulus of a cricket match, on national holidays or
situations of armed conflict. Most of the times we are
filled with mixed emotions.
