Abhishek Somany is the Managing Director & CEO of Somany Ceramics Limited, one of the top 15 global leaders in the ceramics and allied products industry. With a legacy spanning over 50 years, Somany Ceramics is renowned for its design excellence, innovation, and quality, making it a household name across India. Under Abhishek’s leadership, the company has expanded its footprint nationwide, operating over 350 exclusive stores and experience centres. Abhishek also served as Chairman of the Indian Council of Ceramic Tiles & Sanitary Ware (ICCTAS) for 2021-22, contributing to policy-making and industry development.
Education & Early Experience
He began his career in 1995 as a management trainee at Somany Ceramics after gaining experience in his grandfather’s chemical business and learning from leading Indian corporates. Rising through roles in sales, marketing, finance, and tile development, he progressed to Executive Director, Joint Managing Director, and eventually MD & CEO. His strategic vision, innovation-driven approach, and decisive leadership have fueled the company’s multifold growth and cemented its position as an industry leader.
