
Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast Auto India has announced a strategic partnership with RoadGrid to bolster its service and charging infrastructure across India. This move comes ahead of the company’s first vehicle delivery in the Indian market.
As part of this collaboration, VinFast plans to establish over 120 extended service workshops in partnership with RoadGrid and other service providers. The initiative aims to deliver seamless aftersales service and charging support to customers nationwide.
RoadGrid, a prominent EV charging and service solutions provider, operates in multiple cities across India. With a network of over 200 dealers, the company offers integrated charging solutions and diagnostics-based services for EV owners and fleet operators.
Under this partnership, both companies will work together to provide real-time charging access, digital integration, and comprehensive service offerings to support India’s rapidly growing EV ecosystem.
Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, emphasized that the company’s vision for India is to build an EV ecosystem based on quality, accessibility, and long-term customer support. Deepesh Shrinath, CEO of RoadGrid, described VinFast’s entry into the Indian EV market as a turning point for the industry.
VinFast, a subsidiary of Vietnam's leading conglomerate Vingroup JSC, is listed on NASDAQ under the ticker VFS. The company manufactures electric SUVs, e-scooters, and e-buses, and is currently expanding operations in North America, Europe, and Asia.
This partnership underscores VinFast’s commitment to building a comprehensive service infrastructure before launching its vehicles in India’s competitive and fast-growing EV market.
