Electric vehicle (EV) charging platform Statiq has announced the integration of over 5,100 EV chargers from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) into its mobile application through its EVLinq platform. This strategic partnership will provide EV users with real-time information, discovery, and navigation to charging stations across the country.
The integration includes HPCL existing and upcoming EV charging infrastructure, of which 2,900 are DC fast chargers. These chargers will now be accessible through the Statiq app, making it easier for EV users to locate and charge their vehicles at HPCL stations.
HPCL, which operates over 23,000 fuel retail outlets across India, is rapidly expanding its EV charging network under the Ministry of Heavy Industries’ PM eDrive initiative.
According to Statiq, the EVLinq platform will enable real-time visibility and aggregation of HPCL’s charging stations, enhancing user convenience and charging efficiency.
The EVLinq platform supports interoperability with multiple EV charging protocols and offers backend monitoring capabilities for Charge Point Operators (CPOs) and e-Mobility Service Providers (eMSPs).
Raghav Arora, Co-founder and CTO of Statiq, said, “Onboarding HPCL’s expansive charging network onto the Statiq platform significantly strengthens our coverage and aligns with our mission to make EV charging simple and accessible for every EV owner in India.”
The company emphasized that this partnership will help bolster the public EV charging ecosystem and accelerate India’s transition towards electric mobility by enhancing accessibility and transparency in the charging infrastructure.
