McDonald's India (W&S) aims to reach 580 to 630 restaurants by 2027

Westlife Foodworld is aiming to expand its restaurant network to between 580 and 630 locations by 2027. As part of its strategic growth, the company is focusing on the rapidly expanding South Indian market. In line with its Vision 2027, Westlife plans to dedicate around 60% of its new outlets to South India, with each featuring the innovative "Experience of the Future" (EOTF) concept and incorporating McCafe by the year 2027.

Currently, McDonald's India (W&S) operates 421 restaurants across 67 cities, with a strong presence in the South, where it runs 184 locations. In the fiscal year 2024-25, the company continued to grow its footprint by opening 27 new restaurants in Southern India, including eight in Tamil Nadu.

The company's future expansion plans were outlined at the recent launch of its first restaurant in Madurai, Tamil Nadu's cultural capital. With this new addition, McDonald's India now operates 38 outlets in Tamil Nadu, marking a significant step forward in the company's Vision 2027 expansion strategy.
