Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has announced the signing of a new property in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh, further boosting its presence in the state’s growing hospitality market. The upcoming hotel, Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels, Mahoba, will be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary.
Located in the Bundelkhand region, Mahoba—known for its 9th-century Sun Temple, rock-cut Jain sculptures, serene lakes and medieval-era fort ruins—has been attracting both leisure and business travellers. The new hotel aims to tap into this demand with 52 rooms, a restaurant, banquet and conference facilities, and recreational amenities including a swimming pool and fitness centre. It is situated about 75 km from Khajuraho Airport and 5 km from Mahoba Railway Junction, with strong connectivity by road.
“With this signing, we continue to strengthen our leisure and business portfolio in Uttar Pradesh, where we already operate eight hotels and have 13 more in the pipeline,” said Vilas Pawar, CEO – Managed & Franchise Business, Lemon Tree Hotels. He added that the state’s cultural richness, rising commercial activity and heritage appeal make it an ideal market for the brand’s nationwide expansion strategy.
The Mahoba property adds to Lemon Tree Hotels’ growing network across India as the company continues to broaden its reach in both established and developing cities.
