
Jitendra New EV Tech Pvt. Ltd. (JNEVTPL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MET Institute of Engineering (IOE), Bhujbal Knowledge City, Adgaon, Nashik, aiming to strengthen collaboration between the academic sector and the electric vehicle (EV) industry.
The MoU signing ceremony was held at the MET IOE campus, with Principal Dr. V.P. Vani representing the institute and Tejas Merchant from JNEVTPL’s R&D department representing the company.
Under this partnership, activities like joint research, product development, technical consultancy, and student training will be carried out to promote electric mobility. MET IOE will provide expert consultancy for enhancing productivity, solving manufacturing and field-related challenges, and implementing advanced engineering practices. The institute will also offer technical support for developing electric scooters, e-rickshaws, electric bikes, and other e-mobility solutions.
In return, MET IOE students will get opportunities for site visits, internships, and participation in live projects related to EV technology and manufacturing processes. Principal Dr. V.P. Vani highlighted that the collaboration will allow students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios, helping them master new EV technologies and strengthen their careers.
Tejas Merchant from JNEVTPL emphasized that the partnership aims not only at knowledge sharing but also at producing skilled engineers capable of driving innovation and solving real-time industry challenges. He added that the MoU lays the foundation for long-term cooperation in research, product development, and workforce development in the EV sector.
