As part of this expansion, Harajuku will introduce a dedicated Bakehouse in Delhi alongside a flagship Tokyo Café & Bakehouse in Mumbai.

Strengthening its footprint in India's premium café segment, Harajuku Tokyo Café & Bakehouse has unveiled an ambitious expansion strategy that will take the Japanese-inspired brand into multiple new cities and formats. Having established a loyal customer base in Delhi and Mumbai, the company is now gearing up for its next phase of growth with a broader national presence.

As part of this expansion, Harajuku will introduce a dedicated Bakehouse in Delhi alongside a flagship Tokyo Café & Bakehouse in Mumbai. The brand is also set to enter Bengaluru, marking its debut in South India, while launching its first all-vegetarian outlet in Gujarat with a format tailored to the region's culinary preferences.

Inspired by Japan's vibrant culture, Harajuku Tokyo Café & Bakehouse is distinguished by its immersive, manga-themed interiors and authentic Japanese-inspired menu. Each outlet reflects the personality of a different Japanese district—Mumbai captures the bustling spirit of Shibuya, the M3M IFC Gurugram outlet recreates the neon-lit energy of Kabukicho, and the Ambience Mall Gurugram location draws inspiration from the cultural charm of Ueno.

The menu showcases signature offerings including the brand's viral jiggly pancakes, Japanese cotton cheesecake, conveyor-belt sushi, and an extensive selection of innovative beverages that have helped build a strong and loyal customer following.

Gaurav Kanwar, Founder of Harajuku Tokyo Café & Bakehouse said, “There’s something incredibly special about watching people truly connect with what you’ve built. The response we received in Delhi was overwhelming, and Mumbai took that love to another level. It reassured us that this vision resonates. As we now expand into Bangalore and other cities, it feels like the right time to share this experience with an even wider audience, while staying true to the care, energy, and authenticity that define us.”

Expanding its footprint into new regional markets, Harajuku Tokyo Café & Bakehouse is set to debut in Bengaluru while introducing its first all-vegetarian outlet in Gujarat, reinforcing its strategy to take its distinctive Japanese café experience to consumers across India.
