The global culinary brand, in partnership with Travel Food Services Limited (TFS), unveiled the new outlet as part of a strategic expansion into India’s growing travel and hospitality sector.

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has officially launched his first-ever restaurant in India with the opening of Gordon Ramsay Street Burger at Terminal 1 of Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), one of the busiest airports in the world.

The global culinary brand, in partnership with Travel Food Services Limited (TFS), unveiled the new outlet as part of a strategic expansion into India’s growing travel and hospitality sector. This marks Ramsay’s maiden foray into the Indian market and signals broader plans to introduce more of his signature dining concepts across key travel hubs in the country.

Known for his bold culinary style and global presence, Ramsay’s Street Burger at Delhi T1 blends international classics with India-inspired flavours. The menu features crowd favourites like Gordon’s Fried Chicken (GFC) Burger, alongside locally tailored offerings such as the Tandoori Paneer Burger and The Butternut Bhaji Burger. Accompanying sides include Hotter than Hell Fries, Crisp Vegan Bites, fresh salads, and indulgent desserts like Sticky Toffee Pudding, milkshakes, and crafted cocktails.

Andy Wenlock, CEO of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global, called India a “natural home” for the brand. “With India’s deep love for bold flavours and rich culinary tradition, we’re thrilled to bring our Street Burger experience to the country. This opening in Delhi is just the beginning—we’re looking forward to expanding to Mumbai and beyond,” Wenlock said.

Varun Kapur, Managing Director & CEO of Travel Food Services, hailed the collaboration as a milestone in transforming the airport dining experience. “Today’s Indian traveller expects world-class dining even on the go. This partnership combines our operational strength with Gordon Ramsay’s culinary excellence, redefining what airport food can be,” Kapur noted.

Delhi Airport, which handled 77.8 million passengers in 2024 and was recently ranked the 9th busiest in the world, has become a hotspot for international hospitality brands. With Terminal 1’s expanded capacity to serve 40 million passengers annually, the introduction of chef-led concepts like Street Burger is seen as a step toward elevating airport experiences in India.

Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Global already operates successfully at major international airports including London Heathrow, Doha Hamad International, and Hong Kong. The Delhi launch further solidifies its presence in the high-traffic travel sector, positioning India as a key player in Ramsay’s global strategy.
