Godrej Interio has been adding two exclusive showrooms every week, having opened 104 new showrooms in the past year alone.

Godrej Interio, a leading player in India’s furniture industry, is on an expansion spree as it focuses on  retail expansion, product innovation, and technological advancements. With a strong focus on quality and accessibility, the brand has been rapidly growing its presence across the country, aiming for a 25% year-on-year growth.

As part of its expansion strategy, Godrej Interio has been adding two exclusive showrooms every week, having opened 104 new showrooms in the past year alone. Over the last two years, the company has strengthened its footprint with 220+ exclusive showrooms, catering to demand from metro cities as well as Tier II and III locations.

“In addition to exclusive showrooms, we have expanded our reach by onboarding around 700 new retailers and distributors, allowing us to penetrate deeper into India’s towns and villages. We now operate 1,015 exclusive stores, along with approximately 3,700 retail outlets under our distribution network, bringing the total retail points to over 4,000,” said Dr. Dev Narayan Sarkar, Senior Vice President and Head of Consumer Business, Godrej Interio.

With the Indian furniture market valued at ₹1,40,000 crore, Godrej Interio is strategically positioned to capture a larger market share while maintaining strong profitability.

“We are currently growing at approximately 23% year-on-year and expect to close the year at around 25% growth. The market presents a tremendous opportunity for brands that can execute the right strategy. Maintaining a 25% CAGR will not only strengthen our position but also boost our market share, as very few brands are expanding at this pace. Our focus remains on introducing trendy, modern furniture and high-quality mattresses to sustain this momentum,” added Dr. Sarkar.
