Cinépolis, India’s first international cinema exhibitor and one of the country’s largest multiplex chains, has inaugurated a new premium multiplex at Gravity Mall in Kankarbagh, Patna. This launch marks the brand’s second property in the city and represents a strategic move to deepen its presence in Eastern India. The new cinema features three state-of-the-art screens—one 3D and two 2D—with a total seating capacity of 563. Notably, more than 54% of the seats are plush recliners, aimed at delivering a luxurious viewing experience. All screens are equipped with advanced 2K Laser Projection and Dolby 7.1 surround sound systems, ensuring high-quality visuals and immersive audio for moviegoers.
Speaking about the expansion, Devang Sampat, Managing Director of Cinépolis India, said, “Patna continues to be a high-potential market for Cinépolis, and we’re thrilled to expand our presence in the city with a second cinema. The launch of our new property at Gravity Mall allows us to reach a wider audience in a vibrant, fast-developing part of the city.” The company is partnering with Gravity Mall to bring this world-class movie experience to one of Patna’s busiest neighborhoods. Cinépolis India operates 449 screens nationwide under the banners of Cinépolis, Cinépolis VIP, and Fun Cinemas.
