Indian sports and athleisure footwear brand Campus Activewear Ltd has officially entered the Sri Lankan market through a strategic partnership with the Hameedia Group’s menswear label, Signature.
As part of the expansion, Campus products will be made available across Signature’s retail showrooms, H-Sports outlets, and the brand’s e-commerce platform, offering Sri Lankan consumers easy access to a diverse range of lifestyle and performance footwear.
“Sri Lanka offers a promising landscape with its rising consumer appetite for accessible, fashion-forward lifestyle products,” said Nikhil Aggarwal, CEO and Whole Time Director of Campus Activewear. “By leveraging Signature’s strong brand presence and our own proven product capabilities, we aim to mirror the success that we have seen in India.”
The partnership marks Campus Activewear’s first foray into the Sri Lankan market, as it looks to tap into the growing demand for trendy and affordable footwear. The product lineup will include styles across lifestyle, running, and walking categories. The brand also plans to support its launch with local marketing initiatives, in-store activations, and omnichannel retail access through Signature’s physical and digital networks.
Amjad Hameed, Director at Signature, expressed confidence in the collaboration. “Campus is a brand that resonates strongly with today’s fashion-conscious youth. We are proud to bring this iconic name to Sri Lanka and are confident that this partnership will redefine the footwear retail space here, just as Signature has done with men’s fashion.”
Campus Activewear is one of India’s leading players in the sports and casual footwear segment, and this expansion is part of its broader strategy to grow its footprint in South Asia.
