In a recent study, Sciative Solutions has uncovered shifts in the shopping behavior of Gen Z consumers, ages 18-25, revealing important trends for brands looking to capture this growing demographic. The research highlights an increasing preference for online shopping among this group, emphasizing the importance of a strong digital presence for businesses aiming to connect with the tech-savvy and socially conscious generation.

66% of Gen Z shoppers (aged 18-25) prefer to shop online rather than in-store, emphasizing the need for brands to strengthen their online presence. 83% of Gen Z shoppers rely heavily on customer reviews to make purchasing decisions, indicating the growing importance of building strong customer relationships. 68% prioritize product price for the first purchase, while 86% believe that they would still purchase a product even if it became 10% more expensive, showing that product quality is equally important. 85% of Gen Z shoppers are willing to switch between marketplaces to find the best price, highlighting the need for retailers to strike a balance between competitive pricing and product quality.
