
Innovations in health care and wellness were selected to represent The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Hyderabad chapter for the national finals of TiE International start up competition (TISC) at Delhi in February.
Speedy diagnostic kit for prescribing the right antibiotics developed at BITS Hyderabad called RightBiotic won the competition in student track while Feel Good Innovation's ergonomic seat for two-wheeler drivers emerged the winner in the investor track.
"We chose seven teams across the two tracks from a total of 100 applications, of which the winners will represent Hyderabad at the national finals in Delhi in February," said Safir Adeni, president of TiE Hyderabad.
Handing over the prizes to the winners, minister for Information technology for Telangana, K T Rama Rao, added that the state government will encourage private organisations to set up incubation facilities as a part of its start-up policy.
