SportsFit by MS Dhoni launches in Gurgaon

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Indian Cricket Team captain and celebrity cricketer has recently announced the opening of his first fitness centre, SportsFit in Gurgaon, Haryana. The first fitness centre is a 25,000 sq. ft property at Global Foyer, Golf Course Road, Gurgaon. In next five years the brand plans to open 200 gyms and in the first half of 2012 it will have four gyms running, the next being at Ambience Mall in Vasant Kunj New Delhi, Chandigarh and Faridabad. The brand is looking for franchisees for expansion. However, the current four openings will be company-owned.

The new launch had MS Dhoni workout with the fitness trainers for 20 minutes. The captain of the Indian Cricket Team aims at creating a tribe of athletes willing to challenge and dedicate themselves to a vital way of life. SportsFit aims to revolutionise the way Indians perceive a ‘fitness regime’ by creating a culture that will breed athletes and encourage fitness for all. The facility meets the demand of an innovative, dynamic and effective workout. The training centre is focused on various workouts that train human body with new exercise regimens that show immediate results.
