
Nakshtra, the diamond jewellery brand owned by Gitanjali group, plans to expand its retail presence in India. The brand is looking to spread its footprints across India via franchising. In the coming year, it would like to open as many stores as it can by mainly targeting metro cities. For opening the Nakshtra’s franchise outlet, the prospective investor will require an investment of Rs two crore with a 300 sq ft retail space.
Launched in 2000, Nakshtra today has reached on the ionic stage with 12 franchised outlets and more than 1,000 points of sale in across India. The brand has become one of the leading fashion diamond jewellery brands in India, which is patronised by the women belonging to all the segments of the society.
