Molton Brown, British luxury beauty and fragrance brand, is planning to launch 15 stores over the next five years across India.
The brand eyes expanding its presence in the country through the direct and omni-channel route. It will scout for locations in luxury hotels and malls across the top metros.
Molton Brown was launched in the United Kingdom in the late 1970s. The India partner of the company is Berkeley Beauty Brands.
United States is Molton Brown's second largest market accounting for about 20% of its global sales. The brand is focusing to grow in the Asia region and in India specifically.
Mark Johnson, Global President of Molton Brown, said, "The company is positive about its expansion plans in India. It has taken us over two years to find the right India partner and is an important market for us, even if the pace of growth is slightly slower than other markets like the Middle East. We are here for the long run."
