Founding Chairman & Managing Director of Lotus Herbals Kamal Passi dies at 66

Founding Chairman & Managing Director of Lotus Herbals, Kamal Passi, passed away on 14th April 2015, at his residence, in New Delhi. The 66 years old business tycoon was known to introduce chemical free beauty products to Indian consumers.

One of the pioneers of the beauty care industry, Passi has created the world class herbal cosmetics brand worth Rs 300 crore in 1993, within a span of just over two decades and was spreading its footprints in overseas market.

Currently, his scion Nitin Passi was taking care of the entire business, while the Passi was taking care of the overseas research operations of the company before resting in peace.

Passi’s entrepreneurial spirit and zeal for excellence led him to establish Lotus Herbals as one of India’s finest home grown beauty care brands with a well established retail and distribution network pan India and overseas.

His contribution to the beauty care industry is well established and he will be missed by all those in the fraternity and the larger business community in India.
