Essar oil has plans to take its petrol pump count to 3000 by 2016. The brand opens 60 outlets every month and currently has over 1600 outlets.

Essar oil has plans to take its petrol pump count to 3000 by 2016. The brand opens 60 outlets every month and currently has over 1600 outlets. The company operates through Franchisee-Owned Franchisee-Operated model (FOFO) across the country.

Today at the day one of Franchise India 2015, 13th International franchise and retail show in Pragati Maidan, Head of Marketing Services, Essar Oil Ltd, Krishnaprasad Rai said: “Location evaluation is one of the vital selection criteria for any retail brand.”

Essar Oil is a fully integrated oil and gas company of international scale with a strong presence across the hydrocarbon value chain from exploration and production to refining and oil retail, has a huge franchise network. It owns India’s second largest single site refinery at Vadinar, Gujarat, having a capacity of 20 MMTPA, or 405,000 barrels per day.
