Essar Hypermart, a steel retail chain of Essar Steel is planning to take its count to 776 outlets from the current 520 outlets by March 2011, confirms a company’s official. These new outlets will be a mix of company owned and franchised outlets.
Besides this, the company has also commenced its operations in Dubai and Indonesia by launching retail outlets. Now the company is looking at setting up a service centre in Dubai to cater to Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. It is also aiming to expand its presence in SAARC countries.
