
Bata India is all set to revive itself to be once again the favourite footwear brand for all ages. The company plans to introduce almost four designs every day, open 70-100 stores each spreading in an area of 5,000 sq. ft every year and market its online sales as well. The company is also considering franchise route to such huge expansion pan India.
The company now plans to increase the average store size to 5,000 sq ft realising the fact that higher display attracts more customers and more sales.
Bata is delivering to 315 towns across India, including tougher and difficult to operate markets like Jammu and Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
