Entrepreneurs Ashutosh Pandey and Apurva Sharma recently launched their new venture, Elate Wellbeing, providing online emotional counseling and support to people to enhance their mental health. Elate Wellbeing is aiming on a wide range of psychological issues, eating disorder, anger management, and gaming addiction.
Speaking about the launch, Ashutosh Pandey, Founder, Elate Wellbeing, said, “Elate is a platform trying to bridge the gap between clients and counselors. We have tied up with 20 psychologists with 5-20 years’ experience in handling such issues. We also have an in-house team of psychologists available to talk or chat with people.”
Online counseling is believe to be as effective as face to face talk therapies, tending to be more convenient and affordable.
The brainchild of husband wife due- Ashutosh and Apurva, Elate Wellbeing is a combination of scientifically proven therapies like cognitive behavioural therapy, dynamic therapy etc. The idea is to relieve people from the instantly increasing motivational talk culture that are mostly based on a monologue basis.
“Currently we are focusing on North Indian cities including Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Chandigarh. But we expect to grow multi-fold in the next 6-9 months to cover more cities. Interestingly, we are also working with clients from abroad including Singapore and Canada. These are NRIs or Indians moved recently, who prefer to consult an Indian counselor owing to cultural similarity and affordability.” added Ashutosh.
