Ahmedabad FRO2011 concludes successfully

The National Franchise, Retail and SME Show organised on July 9-10, 2011 at The Pride Hotel, Ahmedabad concludes with great success. The two day expo and conference showcased over 75 brands and approximately 2,680 visitors.

Speaking on the occasion Gaurav Marya, President, Franchise India said, “Franchising in India has witnessed impressive growth of around 30-35 per cent year after year, over the last four to five years with an estimated annual turnover of $ 4 billion. The aim is to create an ecosystem for transforming ideas to businesses. The brands which participated and got tremendous footfall were; Subway, Vadilal Enterprises Ltd, i360 Staffing & Training Solutions Pvt. Ltd, Refeel Cartridge, Thumbrule Technologies, Naturals and many more. There was also a Startup Summit, organised by Franchise India which talked about business plans, finding funds, marketing the companies. The show was presented by Franchise India along with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) with the support of Indian Franchise Association.
