Taco Bell Names Moksh Chopra to Lead Business in Indian Subcontinent
During his tenure, KFC India's market share climbed to nearly 27 per cent, even as the brand doubled both its restaurant network and operating profit, while also posting healthy system sales growth and stronger unit economics.

Moksh Chopra, currently General Manager of KFC India & Partner Countries, is set to take on a new role as Market Lead, Indian Subcontinent at Taco Bell International, effective September 7, 2026. In this new capacity, he will be responsible for steering Taco Bell's strategy, business growth and operational performance across India, Sri Lanka and Kuwait, working closely with the brand's franchisees and local teams in the region.

Chopra has been with Yum! Brands for 16 years. In his most recent role as General Manager of KFC India & Partner Countries, he oversaw the business across growth, operations and consumer experience.

During his tenure, KFC India's market share climbed to nearly 27 per cent, even as the brand doubled both its restaurant network and operating profit, while also posting healthy system sales growth and stronger unit economics.

Commenting on his new role, Chopra said, “I am honored to have the opportunity to lead Taco Bell’s growth in the region.
