Miraj Cinemas has strengthened its presence in Punjab with the launch of Miraj Cinemas at Spectra Mall, Patiala, marking the debut of its ‘Signature’ premium cinema format in the city. The new four-screen multiplex is located on the second floor of Spectra Mall on Rajpura Road and underscores the company’s focus on experience-led, premium offerings in regional markets.
The multiplex features four screens with a total seating capacity of 803 seats, combining regular seating with premium viewing options. A key highlight of the property is Audi-04, which introduces Miraj Cinemas’ proprietary Signature format in Patiala. This premium auditorium is equipped with 49 luxury recliner seats, an exclusive lounge, and dedicated guest access, catering to audiences seeking enhanced comfort and a more upscale movie-going experience.
Commenting on the launch, Bhuvanesh Mendiratta, Managing Director, Miraj Entertainment Ltd., said the company aimed to elevate the cinema experience in a city with a strong movie-going culture. He added that the new property focuses on every aspect of the visit—from advanced cinema technology and premium seating to design, comfort, and food offerings—reflecting evolving audience expectations beyond just watching a film.
With the addition of the Patiala multiplex, Miraj Cinemas now operates four properties with twelve screens across Punjab. The company also has four O&M properties with thirteen screens and two lease properties with eight screens in the pipeline, indicating continued expansion in the region.
Designed with a contemporary aesthetic, the multiplex offers modern interiors, high-quality digital projection, immersive surround sound, and comfortable seating with clear sightlines across all auditoriums. Food and beverage options include three in-house concepts—PopCorner, Chef Corner, and The Beanary Café—serving a range of classic cinema snacks, freshly prepared meals, and coffee-based beverages.
The launch further reinforces Miraj Cinemas’ strategy of expanding its footprint in Punjab while scaling premium cinema formats tailored to emerging urban markets.
