Via New E-commerce course, Aptech to Support Online Retail Industry

Aptech Ltd, a global education company has launched a new career programme called Aptech Certified Computer Professional Pro (ACCP Pro) e-commerce that will cater to the growing demand of the e-commerce industry. E-Commerce has emerged as India's new sunrise industry and is set to cross business worth of $16.4 billion by the end of 2014 (ASSOCHAM-Deloitte). The course is open to 10+2 graduates and commerce under-graduate students that are looking to make a career in one of the fastest growing industries in India.

According to Anuj Kacker, Executive Director, Aptech Ltd, “The ACCP E-commerce course has been introduced to give students the necessary tools to be ready to join the e-commerce industry. The industry has a potential of providing 50,000 jobs in the next two to three years and we at Aptech are providing this course to ensure that this demand is met.”

With the industry growth rate at 34% (CAGR since 2009) and an expected hiring rate of 30%, the new course will train students in the travel, apparel, health and beauty products segments. ACCP e-commerce is a 25-month career programme held for two hours, thrice a week to train students in industry relevant skills such as web productivity tools, e-commerce implementation, logic building, elementary programming, and building next generation websites. Right from providing students with a strong foundation in commerce to offering advanced level skills in e-Commerce implementation; the course will also impart training on sales and marketing, presentation and interpersonal skills, organisational skills and effective communication that are important to succeed in the professional world today.
