Mr. Tej is an alum of IIT Bombay and the Indian School of Business. Over the last decade, he spent some very interesting years as a derivatives trader with Deutsche Bank and Citi in London, trading options & tranches on corporate credit portfolios.

In 2012, Tej founded RupeePower - whose CreditTech platform (CreditOn) is now used by major banks, lenders, housing finance companies & fintechs in India for omni-channel customer acquisition, instant credit decisioning, digital KYC, alternate data scredit scoring and loan underwriting. Over the last 5 years, the platform has enabled disbursal of USD 3 bn in consumer and SME credit.

Tej's entrepreneurial pursuits are driven by a fascination for the way technology is transforming capital & labour markets. He is on the constant lookout to collaborating or angel-investing in new ideas enabling credit, investments, insurance, skilling & the gig economy.
