With an Honours degree in Commerce from Osmania University and an MBA from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Mr. Phaneendra spearheaded sales & marketing for the last 23 years for some top organisations. He is currently working with GMR Sports Pvt Ltd, a franchise of Indian Premier League named "Delhi Daredevils". He has been a core member of the Team DD and GMR Sports for the last 5 years spearheading the local revenue stream of the franchise – gate revenues, sponsor sales and merchandise.

Mr. Phaneendra has worked on the brand 'Delhi Daredevils' successfully over the years and have been able to establish a strong connect with fans. A major part of the career went for working with soft drinks major Coca-Cola and bottled water brand Bisleri. He worked with these major brands on sales, distribution and creating a distribution infrastructure to optimise the distribution costs.
