Tattva spa initiated TooYoo on-demand consumer services, Now in Delhi

TooYoo customer delivery platform has embraced a hybrid model where a majority of beauticians and therapists are on its rolls and a number of specialists henna artists, hair stylists, make-up artists are curated freelancers.

TooYoo, an on-demand beauty and spa platform, an initiative by Tattva Spa, recently launched its consumer service in Delhi & NCR. The service can be currently booked via a phone call or Toll Free Number or on TooYoo’s website which provides a full listing of the services available and their costs.

The TooYoo mobile app, based on cutting edge technology with a focus on ease of customer usage will go live for Android and iOS in the coming weeks. Following its launch in Delhi/NCR, TooYoo will launch in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Jaipur and Chandigarh in early 2016. 

TooYoo is an initiative by Elementia Wellness, a wellness services leader in India that was established in 2013 and is recognized for its depth in holistic spa treatments at its 40 hotel spas spread across 20+ cities in India under the brand name Tattva Spa. Tattva Spa has raised an angel round of investment from Indian Angel Network and HealthStart in October 2014. TooYoo is the brand’s foray in bringing beauty and wellness to the doorsteps of Indian customers in this fast paced life.

According to a KPMG report, the beauty and wellness industry in India will be US$13 billion by 2017 as per the global market intelligence firm Euromonitor International. Several factors are contributing to this growth such as the penchant for convenience and affordability, the rapid penetration and adoption of technology and the dramatic shifts in the earning potential of India’s workforce and their enhanced spending prowess.

Unlike most of its competitors in the on-demand beauty and wellness space, TooYoo services cater to both men and women. Customers are spoilt for choice and can select from a wide array of services like deep tissue massage, Ayurvedic massage, lymphatic drainage massage, chocolate wrap, foot reflexology, and beauty services like waxing, bleaching, facials, pedicures, hair spas to name a few. TooYoo’s quality standards ensure that its therapists and healers use single use service kits, disposable gowns and sterilized equipment.

TooYoo provides customers with only verified, trained, experienced and certified beauty and spa service professionals who use standardised procedures as per TooYoo’s customer service practices. These professionals are called YooHoos and currently are 10 in number, available to travel immediately to homes or offices. Customers can book services in advance or request services on immediate basis in which case a YooHoo can reach in as less as 30 minutes from the time of appointment confirmation.

TooYoo customer delivery platform has embraced a hybrid model where a majority of its beauticians and therapists are on its rolls and a small number of specialists (henna artists, hair stylists, make-up artists) are curated freelancers. Unlike other players, TooYoo is not just an aggregator. Its YooHoo’s are on the Company rolls and also undergo extensive in-house training that is strengthened by Tattva’s experience in the business. The specialists for make-up and hair-styling are also background checked and additionally trained to deliver services the TooYoo way.

Based on an asset-light model and delivered by development of strong pan-India consumer brand, spread in 24 cities in India, it ensures superior wellness experiences. Tattva currently works with large international hospitality brands like Marriott International, Hilton Hotels and Resorts, Starwood Hotels within the hotel spa segment. The Company has raised an angel round of investment from Indian Angel Network and Healthstart.
