After successfully spreading its wings across India, Naturals salon chain has made an easy way to Dubai market by roping in Bollywood Diva Kareena Kapoor Khan, who will be soon replaced by the new charm of the industry Alia Bhatt.

ises across every nook and corner of India, have plans to rope in Bollywood’s new charm Alia Bhatt as its next brand ambassador.
In an exclusive conversation with Wellness India, Co-Founder and Chairman of Naturals, C K Kumaravel unveiled his next preference for his brand by saying, “Alia Bhatt is our next choice.” He disclosed the same at the sidelines of the Indian Retail & eRetail Congress 2015, held recently in Gurgaon.
He also shared that his brand’s current face Kareena Kapoor Khan made it easy for the brand to foray in Dubai market.
“In Dubai market, our establishment happened due to Kareena Kapoor. I think we should give celebrities the due and use them only for attraction, else your product has to deliver,” said the Naturals’ Co-founder.
With an aim to touch yet another milestone, CKK, laid out plans for rapid expansion by doubling the number of outlets to 1,000 and also expand in other international markets like UAE and US.
“At this point, we are focusing on how to reach that 1,000 salon mark. That’s our focus and that’s where we are heading to.” He further added, “We are expanding in Dubai and US is our other market, where expansion is happening. Towards the end of next year, we should be operating in 10 countries and that will give us a flavor of international market,” saidKumaravel.
Known for not only running a well spread salon chain Naturals, but for supporting and encouraging women entrepreneurship and help boost women empowerment, Kumaravel also have a long-term dream to eradicate ‘house wife’ from India.
“I have a dream goal to chase. My dream is to erase the word called house wife from the Indian dictionary so, as long asthere is house wife, my dream never ends. So it will continue. I don’t have a financial number because if I have a financial number game, then I will become tired. My long-term goal is to make a global Indian brand. It is a shame that India doesn’t fall in the top 5 global brand’s category. I want to create a global Indian brand and that’s my big dream,” he noted.
On the sheer strength of performance, Naturals has grown to become India's most prominent chain of hair and beauty salons. What started off as an initiative to empower women in 2000, Naturals has expanded its presence across India with over 300 salons in 14 states and 55 cities. About 80 per cent of their salons are franchisee and owned by women.
