Beauty no longer lies in the eyes of beholder but it lies more on the number of Instagram followers and likes your Facebook profile picture gather. So when everyone has soaked themselves in technology, why not beauty brands!

The United States has the largest cosmetics market in the world, and its revenue is expected to reach $126 billion by 2019. The U.S. make-up market is expected to maintain positive growth through 2018, with an anticipated compound annual growth rate of 3.8% for the five-year period of 2013-2018, reaching $8.4 billion.

Similarly, the global fragrances and perfumes market is expected to experience positive growth through 2019, with a compound annual growth rate of 2%.

With competition of Beauty brands reaching its peak day by day, it is difficult to keep the existing customers happy as well as to fetch new customers.

Here are a few innovative ways for the Beauty brands to keep their customers multiplying with every passing day:

1. Advance Technology

It is the awake of digitization, hence getting digitized will keep the brand ahead of others. New improved digital functions, like addition of features in the accessible products or gadgets, will give a new dimension to the brand altogether.

Minute changes such as chargeable battery in trimmers, curlers or two-in-one functioned devices can do wonders.

People get easily bored with old technology and try not to be left behind in this race, thus such changes in regular time intervals will keep the customers curious and your brand growing.

2. 3D Augmentation

This technology has been adapted recently by a lot of brands, which allows customers to try different make ups, hairdos and looks by simply sitting at one place, without even going to the showroom.

The technology lets the customers try, choose and then buy the product if they like it; there is no interference or distribution of any other external factor. It also helps them by suggesting something, which they have never tried or shy away from trying in public places.

3.Home service

In this fast paced life, people hardly have time to visit the showroom or spas or salons on regular basis, due to time and traffic congestion, and it is not possible for the Beauty Brands to open a new store or salon in every other street of the locality.

In situation like this home service plays a crucial role in keeping the rapport of the customer and the brand, without any headache.

The customer can get his services under his/ her own roof and his/ her convenient time.

4. Time of Apps and stars

Gone are the days of pamphlets to know the combos being offered or to new introduction in the existing brochure; and phone calls to book an appointment or to know your services good enough.

It is time of apps, where the customer can see the offers, combos, and discounts, being offered by the brand and can rate the service with a note of appreciation or feedback on the app itself.

Thus it is important to elevate your brands reputation by keeping updated with the evolving digital mediums.

5. Blogs and bloggers

A little expenditure on developing and designing the brand’s website, and in hiring a couple of bloggers, will change the entire face of the brand.

Addition of blogs consisting of valuable tips, benefits and activities about the brand will blow its popularity of the brand to multiple folds.

You will see a significant rise of viewers, customers and association with other brands in no time.

These little changes in regular time intervals will bring a drastic change to your brands. Catching up with time and following trends is old fashioned now, it is time to be a trend setter not trend follower.
