This August, the folks in Western suburbs definitely have something new and interesting to look forward to as America’s popular chicken brand; Genuine Broaster Chicken is all set to open doors in Andheri’s up market neighbourhood of Versova from August 10th, 2016.

Yellow Tie Hospitality, an India-based F&B Franchise Management Company has brought downGenuine Broaster Chicken (GBC) to India with Celebrity Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi as the Brand Ambassador and Chef on board for GBC in the country.

A sought after name in the Indian F&B sector and a regular on popular culinary TV shows, Chef Harpal has a reputation for creating fusion cuisine and will add his touch to the brand to please the Indian palate while staying true to its American heritage.

While talking about bringing the prestigious brand to India, company’s Founder and CEO Karan Tanna said, “Broaster Chicken has been an integral part of America’s food heritage and loyalty towards this brand can be attested by food lovers all over the world. Therefore, we at Yellow Tie hospitality felt it was time to introduce this brand and its unique technology to Indian consumers so they can enjoy a comparatively healthier version of fried chicken.”

GENUINE BROASTER CHICKEN INTERIORS

The look and feel of Genuine Broaster Chicken is like a typical old school neighbourhood American diner with rustic vintage furniture, mosaic mirror walls along with a white and brick wall finish, ornamental windows and American upholstery. With a casual vibe and the use of American visual merchandise like American baseball helmet lights, Genuine Broaster Chicken has a quirky feel to it as compared to its competitors. Taking vintage grunge as an underlying concept, GBC has a vintage lamppost, old school brass lights and metal grills with series lights on it. One can notice some quirky facts about chicken supported by funny caricatures on the outlet ceiling that also has sacks with Broaster’s branding on it.

GENUINE BROASTER CHICKEN FOOD MENU

The food menu includes unique fast food and dine-in offerings like classics of Genuine Broaster Chicken alongside a specially curated exclusive menu by the energy Chef of India – Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi. The idea was to innovate the American product to give it a personalized Indian touch that caters to the Indian palate whilst retaining the American look and feel of Genuine Broaster Chicken.

Commenting on the exclusive menu curated by him, Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi said, “I am really excited to be associated with Broaster Chicken as the brand ambassador in India. With this association, it will give me an opportunity to introduce an “Indo-American” cuisine, where we will offer traditional Indian dishes in a modern day, youth oriented and fun format.”

The elaborate menu begins with a range of Fried Chicken options like The Legendry Genuine Broaster Chicken which is pressure fried chicken wings made in Chickite marination with a Slo-Bro coat, the Hot Masala Chicken consisting of crispy fried boneless chicken thighs smeared with the in house hot marinade and crispy cajun coat and Chef’s Special Happy Fried Chicken (Chef’s version of Spicy Chicken) with Curry mango jalapeno dip. One can gorge on delicious appetizers like Cheese Chicken Pillows.

Firangi Palak Paneer Dip with grilled pita bread, Begum Fries topped with Chicken Kheema, Anna’s Chicken Idly and Veggie BBQ Pit-Zaa served on a crispy pita bread base. Genuine Broaster Chicken also serves Tex-Mex Franchos and Smoked BBQ Franchos that will heighten your taste buds to a whole new level. The burger menu at GBC has some lip smacking preparations by Chef Harpal Singh like the pink bun Lamb Rogan Josh Burger, Palak Paneer Burger and the Jong Lee Paneer/Chicken Burger with Chinese spiced Paneer Sticks/ Chicken and Wok’d hakka noodles; yes, you can thank us later! J

For the mains, one can either opt for classic pastas or the Indo styled Penne Makhni and Penne Punjabi or could have a look at the Wok section that serves varied rice and noodle options coupled with delicious curries. The food menu has a special ‘Indie Selection’ with gravies like Cheese Maskedaar which has rich butter masala gravy topped with melting cheese cubes, Galouti Lamb Roganjosh that is cooked in Chef’s secret spice mix gravyand Ghotala Khichdi available in vegetarian and lamb options. For the all the seafood lovers, Genuine Broaster Chicken will serve Grilled Norwegian Salmon and Pan Fried Vietnamese Basa with a choice of Mushroom masala cream sauce or Caper Saffron glaze. Pair this meal with some interesting beverages like Chul Bul Soda, Bul Bul Soda and GBC favourite Palang Tod, a virgin avatar of Jagerbomb. To end the meal on a sweet note, GBC presents a perfect twist to the traditional desserts to offer Chocolate Samosa with Mango Ice cream, Caramel Lava Cake and Chef’s special Gulkand Muffin.
