Technology poised to change the dining experience in Delhi

Year 205 saw lots of tech-focused innovation into the restaurant business scenario in India. From a restaurant focusing on online ordering and app payments to start-ups working on technology enabled platforms.

And with this growth where technology is poised to change the dining experience in the country, NRAI is hosting TechIt on December 15, at the India Habitat Centre.

After the successful launch of the event in Mumbai last month, this is Delhi’s 1st ever gathering focused solely on technology in foodservice

“In today’s world, technology has redefined the food industry. With the ecosystem getting wider and more dynamic, food technology is now the binding force, enabling restaurants to be more efficient, increase profitability and customer delight. There’s a reason why we feel the TechIt concept would work is because it is a much-needed platform, where the next revolution of restaurant tech is coming together. If one looks around, there are several tech products for restaurants to choose from,” shared Ankit Mehrotra, Co-Founder, Dineout. Organised by X Events Hospitality, it is co-hosted by the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI), the voice of the Indian restaurant industry; TechIt intends to help improve the odds in favour of restaurateurs, cafe owners and food service providers, with a technology-focussed meet-up.

It is ‘THE’ place to be for owners of restaurants and foodservice operations because the event would encompass the essential tech for their business in one place.

TechIt, a novel concept in the food-tech business is presented by Dineout in association with Mobikwik.

The host for the Delhi edition of TechIt would be one of India’s best restaurant-techie Rahul Singh, Hon. Secretary of NRAI and founder of The Beer Café brand. Often the first adopter for new tech in food service makes Rahul the perfect host for the tech seminar.

TechIt Delhi 2015 brings together stalwarts in the food-tech space to discuss the amazing synergy of the food and technology. The speakers are experts in the business of food and will share their unique insights on how they make technology work for them.

Talking on the sidelines of TechIt Delhi 2015, Abhishek Chandra, Associate Director, Mobikwik said "As a leading Mobile Wallet company in the country, we at Mobikwik are focussed on giving a seamless one click payment experience to users when they go out for dining with their friends and family without going through the hassle of carrying cash or multiple cards".
