CREATING GENERATIONS OF SKILLED TECHNICIANS

At a time when electronic and automobile industries have put India’s development on the fast track, the need for service start-ups and service technicians has skyrocketed. As the demand for skilled and crafted technicians surge, training companies like Care Skill Academy are playing a key role in imparting quality training to the workforce sector

CREATING GENERATIONS OF SKILLED TECHNICIANS

Launched in 2013, Care Skills Academy is a pioneer in imparting vocational and technical training for repairs of consumer home appliances, solar panels, smartphones, LEDs, air-conditioner, HVAC, VRV and VRF equipment, and automobiles. Speaking about the academy, Santosh Upadhyay, CEO, Care Skills Academy, says, “We develop students’ hidden skills, bring them to the forefront, polish personalities, and convert each of them into a widely accepted technician. We are dedicated to create a more skilful and sustainable economy through skill development training and we believe that knowledge has no limits.”

Commenting on what sets them apart from the brand’s competitors, Upadhyay, says, “Our placement records, corporate tie-ups, training centres, certified trainers and faculties have no match. We are committed to create a skilled workforce in India.”

Offering over 30 courses, the academy boasts of over 8,000 passed out students to become certified technicians. So far, more than 6,750 students from the academy have been placed with various MNCs and large-sized organisations. The minimum education criterion to enroll for any course is Class 12 and the candidate should be aged above 18 years.

FRANCHISE SUPPORT

A Care Skills Academy franchisee, according to Upadhyay, will get high returns on investment, the advantage of a success-driven business model, detailed operating manuals, setup assistance, training for technicians, and marketing and field assistance. Not only that, the brand will also help the franchisee with several government projects and corporate social responsibility activities. Upadhyay maintains that the module and the business plan are designed in such a way that each centre runs profitably.

“Every training institute has a restricted number of batches that are conducted as per the demand of different industries. Also, every institute will get an equal number of allocations, making it profitable,” he explains. Care Skills Academy is planning to open 100 institutes across India, and in 2021 there is a plan to launch its franchised units in South Asian countries.
