Baking success

Established in 1921 in West Pakistan by late Mangal Sain, Frontier Biscuit Factory has been one of the most successful chains of bakeries in North India. The brand’s handmade, eggless bakes remain popular till date. Rajan Sethi, the fourth generation of Sethis, Chief Business Development, Frontier Biscuit shares, “Since these are handmade products, we train our staff to maintain hygiene, modify our factories by installing more air ducts and introduce new inventory measuring systems. Quality was always important but I also wanted to make our process more professional and standardized.”

The brand started dealership in 1992 and currently has a total 50 authorized dealer stores. “We started dealership to increase our presence and on customers demand for Frontier authorized dealership,” adds Sethi. Talking about the selection of right authorized dealer partner, he says, “While choosing a authorized dealer we look for people having a prime location, especially on the ground floor. The shop should be owned by them. We look for authorized dealer preferably in a new area where we are not present at the moment.” The company plans to have 10 more stores in next 12 months with a plan to expand Pan-India.
