Could you brief us about Kolors and its products and services?

What are the advanced treatments, therapies and other services offered by Kolors?

Our services include instant inch loss (technique for figure correction), weight loss treatment (for health and fitness), hair and skin treatments (hair loss control and repair), Microdermabrasion, stretch marks removal, removal of under-eye darkness, glycolic peels) along with regular/ advanced parlour and salon services for men and women. Our services are priced from Rs 4,000 onwards as per requirements and go up to Rs 15 lakhs depending upon the package our customer opts for.

Why do you think franchising is a viable model for expansion? What kind of franchisees are you looking forward to collaborate with?

Franchising is a good way for expansion provided the franchisee understands the concept of the product or the service. It is not about earning money by simply investing in the concept. The person has to be very passionate about the business and must be highly involved with the brand. We started franchising in August 2017 and today we have 11 franchises and 29 company-owned outlets. I got many opportunities to set up franchises in 2007 itself but I wasn’t sure about its operations at that time. However, once I gained confidence about the research and development, quality and SOPs and documented it rightly, we started with that model.

What are your plans to expand through the franchising model?

We are ready to expand via franchising since we are very strong with our SOPs and protocols. The current franchisees we have are in Tier -III cities in South India. We are now launching in Pune and Mumbai within the next six months and are looking at inquiries that have come in from Surat and Ahmedabad.
