She started her entrepreneurial journey as instructor and after striving for two years she decided to take SMARTQ’s franchise. Sparing no effort to establish her business venture, she made fast bucks through a unique programme of developing child's skills. In a tête-à-tête with Amanpreet Kaur, she shares her enthralling experience.

Discuss in brief your entrepreneurial journey?

My journey as an entrepreneur has been a very good one since I feel I have learned to manage a lot of things on my own, right from marketing to organising orientations, coordinating with my instructors, etc.

What inspired you to take the franchise of SMARTQ?

I was hooked to the programme when I first saw what it had to offer. I signed as an instructor right from the inception of the programme and stayed as an instructor for two years. The support offered by my franchisor and the faith which the parents showed in the programme along with the need to grow inspired me to take the franchise of SMARTQ.

How has your journey been with SMARTQ? Since how long have you been associated with the brand?

My journey with SMARTQ has been a very enjoyable one. It feels very good to be associated with something which will enhance the knowledge and competitive spirit of our children who are the future of our country. I have been associated with the brand since its inception three years ago.

What kind of potential do you see in education and training industry?

India today is growing at an amazing rate in every aspect. The base of growth in every field is of course the best of education and training facilities, so the potential in this field is absolutely great.

How has the growth been so far?

My personal growth from an instructor to a franchisee in three years has been quite fulfilling. The growth of SMARTQ can be judged from the fact that it is now a private limited company with a good team to look into every aspect and the number of centres across the country is growing day-by-day.

What is the key element to be a successful franchisee?

The most important element to be a successful franchisee is to have a dedicated and efficient team, a very thorough training programme and a very good support system.

What is the best thing about your franchisor?

A very beautiful knowledgeable programme, which aims at developing a well-rounded personality, is one of the best parts of our franchising brand. The support offered by my franchisor is excellent.

Where do you see yourself five years down the line?

I am looking forward to a huge leap in the number of centres.

What kind of training and support does your franchisor offer you?

Training and support is the key to a successful franchise model as any franchisee would fail to grow without them. Stability and expansion would be impossible without them. Training has always been given huge importance by our franchisor, right from the training offered to the instructors to the one for area partners. We are regularly updated on each and every change too and are offered support wherever needed.
