Discuss in brief your entrepreneurial journey?

My entrepreneurial journey started at the age of 16 when I joined my family business and since then, there has been no looking back.

What inspired you to take the franchise of Kwality Wall's Swirl's?

I was keen to take the franchise of Kwality Wall's because I always wanted to get involved in a retail venture, which is renowned, offers best support system and concept and offers high profit on margins too. They offered me all.

It has been extremely satisfactory in terms of all aspects.

How has been the growth so far?

As it was a new concept, we had to put in a lot of effort initially and the growth we achieved is remarkable, thanks to the company for the support.

The most important element to be a successful franchisee.

To be successful, one has to be well prepared to work hard and have strong people skills. A franchisee must have the right focus on system orientation and accounting. Last but not the least, one should be ready to take risk.

How many franchise outlets do you have and how do you manage multi-unit franchise outlets?

I started with single franchise outlet and now runs five in Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh. But there is still a long way to go.

What is the importance of training and support in a franchise model?

One of the main reasons to take a franchise is to acquire a business with a proven system. Every franchise system should include an effective and comprehensive training programme for every level, from franchise owner to salesman of the outlet so that the business can be run smoothly and effectively. Systematic business training can increase the working efficiency of the team and profitability of the organisation.

Best thing about your franchise brand and the franchisor.

They offer an apt combination of quality, concept and support.

Where do you see yourself five years down the line?

I see myself having at least 25 outlets.

Do you plan to open more outlets of the same brand or any other brand?

I am interested in opening more retail outlets with Kwality Wall's only.
