Frameboxx Animation & Visual Effects is a versatile conglomerate with a focus on providing worldclass animation, media and visual effects training. Started its operations in 2007, the company has over 60 worldclass training centres in India and abroad. The company employs the finest set of technical and creative instructors with over 6,000 students pursuing animation and visual effects education.

Frameboxx also has strong industry alliance with internationally acclaimed Seneca Institute of Applied Arts & Technology, Canada. Frameboxx also has a tie-up with the world's largest job board CreativeHeads.net to enable its students to search and apply for jobs worldwide. ZICA

Designing success model

Zee Institute of Creative Art (ZICA) is India's first full-fledged Classical and Digital Animation Training Academy that trains youth in classical 2D and modern 3D animation. Conceived in 1995, the brand has come a long way with its state-of-the-art infrastructure, gives practical training in 2D animation, 3D animation, visual effects and gaming, covering stages of visualisation, pre-production, production and post-production. ZICA's training studio is equipped with high-end animation tools, 2D animation facilities, 3D software, visual FX labs and imaging technologies.

Talking about the burgeoning trend of new-age concepts in vocational segment through the courses that the brand offers, Prabhanjan Chappar, Business Head, ZICA asserts: “The courses that we offer like animation and visual effects have a huge opportunity, especially when the world is going digitised! Till a few years ago, we were talking about content for television and films, but we are now focused on content for mobile and i-pads.”

ZICA has been franchising since 2008 and has 30 franchise centres at present. The brand is seeking aggressive expansion pan-India via franchising and hopes to have more than 70 centres by next year. The rise and impact of new-age educational courses particularly in the vocational segment is something that Manish Agarwal, Founder and Director, Orion Edutech Pvt. Ltd, vouches for. He explains: “Our courses are different from basic educational courses. We are here to bridge the gap between academics and industry requirement and we focus that there is employability from after the completion of the course itself!”

The brand has been franchising since 2007 and currently has more than 150 franchisees. It is mulling pan India expansion and expects to take its franchisee count to more than 300 centers by the end of 2012.
