KITSCH, the first-of-its kind multi-brand concept in India, houses the world's leading luxury and fashion brands. Kitsch, a part of TSG International Marketing Pvt. Ltd, started its operation in 2008.
The brand brings latest collection of ready-to-wear accessories, bags and shoes from the world's top luxury fashion brands like Alexander McQueen, YSL, Celine, Lanvin, Stella McCartney, Diane Von Furstenberg, Catherine Malandrino, Halston Heritage etc. The boutiques are located in Mumbai and New Delhi.
Franchising in the luxury fashion segment offers a unique proposition for women entrepreneurs to taste success. Highlighting this aspect, Priya Chatwal, Chief Operating Officer and Creative Director, Kitsch, avers: “I think franchising is a suitable model for women entrepreneurs in India. We have been running this business from the past six years. And I think if we can be successful they can be too!”
Talking about training and support that the brand offers to its franchisees, Chatwal says: “We provide all sorts of product training, including product knowledge, insight on how one should operate stores, concept about stores, sales and even grooming.”
Presently, Kitsch has two franchisees and is planning to open at least 15 stores in the next 10 years via franchising. It is also eyeing tier-II and III cities besides covering Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai in future.
