Leading garment exporter Gokaldas Images pvt. ltd plans to foray into textile in a bid to become an integrated clothing company.
The Bangalore-based Rs 350-crore Gokaldas is also increasing its denim manufacturing capacity next fiscal.
The company, which has a sizable presence in both domestic and international markets, caters to global fashion brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Gap, Levis, Weil Besancon, Liz Clairborne and Playtex.
Gokaldas Images has a turnover in excess of Rs 350 crore with export manufacturing accounting for bulk of the revenues. The group has 18 manufacturing units, including many export-oriented units in and around Bangalore, employing more than 10,000 workers.
