Cityflo and Aaveg Launch Electric Bus Services in Delhi-NCR
Cityflo has partnered with Aaveg to introduce electric bus operations in Delhi-NCR, aiming to tackle urban congestion and pollution while promoting smart route planning and sustainable transport.

Taking a significant step toward cleaner and smarter urban mobility in Delhi-NCR, mobility platform Cityflo has partnered with fleet management provider Aaveg to deploy electric buses in the region. The collaboration was officially announced on July 22, 2025, and represents Cityflo’s first electric vehicle venture in the capital.

As per the agreement, Aaveg will own and maintain the electric buses, while Cityflo will manage operations, including route planning, booking systems, and customer service, all under the Cityflo brand.

Currently, the electric buses are operating on high-demand routes connecting Rohini to DLF Cyber City and Sohna Road. According to Cityflo, early passenger feedback has been positive, particularly on aspects of punctuality, comfort, and overall reliability.

Rushabh Shah, Chief Business Officer and Co-founder of Cityflo, stated that the partnership merges clean energy with tech-enabled operations, offering a compelling alternative to driving in traffic or using overcrowded metro services during peak hours.

Vivek Laroia, CEO of Aaveg, described the partnership as a synergy of operational scale and sustainability with Cityflo's technology-driven network and customer-first approach.

In addition to Delhi-NCR, Cityflo operates bus services in Mumbai and Hyderabad. The company has committed to electrifying at least 20% of its fleet by FY 2026, with plans to scale this as battery tech and charging infrastructure improve across urban India.

This partnership aligns with Cityflo’s hybrid expansion model, which combines operational control with strategic fleet partnerships to scale services across multiple cities. Aaveg, on the other hand, continues to focus on driving corporate and public transport transformation through electric vehicle adoption and resource optimization.

Cityflo positions itself not just as a bus operator, but as a mobility platform working to build a clean, dependable, and intelligent transportation ecosystem for urban India.
