Catering to the growing awareness and consciousness towards healthy lifestyle and fitness, the number of gyms across the country is increasing. Over the years, Jerai Fitness Limited has focused on strengthening its manufacturing processes, supply chain capabilities, and distribution network. The Manufacturing facility which is located in Wada, Palghar spans across 145,530.76 square feet and is focused on the manufacturing of strength training fitness equipment.  It offers a fully automated production process, supported by advanced machinery including laser cutting machines, robotics-assisted fabrication, robotic welding stations, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) and Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines, powder-coating plant and precision material processing systems. This has helped enhance Jerai Fitness Limited’s capabilities in equipment production and quality control.

 

As part of its growth journey, Jerai Fitness Limited has also expanded its industry presence through participation in fitness exhibitions and international industry events. With rising disposable incomes and fewer dependents, a new, financially empowered consumer class is emerging, driving demand across sectors such as technology, electronics, and particularly health and wellness.

 

Looking ahead, what are Jerai Fitness Limited’s expansion plans in India and globally and how will strategic partnerships like the one with Plus Fitness play a role in that growth?

Jerai Fitness Limited will continue focusing on improving its manufacturing process, distribution network and presence in the fitness equipment market. As the demand for mid to premium  gym networks in India grows, it aims to support the development of standardized  fitness infrastructure across the country.

Jerai Fitness Limited also intends to set up a new manufacturing facility, to increase the production capacities and to cater to the cardiovascular fitness equipment, strength fitness equipment, and outdoor fitness equipment, which will also enhance its existing manufacturing capacity.

It also plans to diversify its portfolio by launching outdoor, home and premium fitness equipment across residential, government (B2G), hospitality and high-end consumer segments, while expanding market reach and targeting both budget and premium customers. It also aims to transition to in-house manufacturing of cardiovascular equipment, strengthen R&D capabilities and invest in innovation and premiumisation to improve margins, enhance quality and drive long-term revenue growth.

It also aims in strengthening its market presence by expanding its network of showroom-cum-experience centres across key cities in India, offering immersive, hands-on product interactions supported by expert guidance.
