Sanjeev has over 25 years of investments and operations management experience in Food and Agribusiness in India as well as internationally. Formerly, he was the President and CE, Reliance Retail, where he was the member of the leadership team responsible for the roll out of 1200 Reliance retail stores (USD 1 Billion investments). He was also a Director on the board of Cargill India, where he established and ran the Grains and Oilseeds business in India. He was instrumental in establishing supply chain to local food and feed industry and developed direct Grain Sourcing locations across North and Central India. Sanjeev has also worked as Country head Romania and Country head Indonesia for ITC.

He is currently Director on the Boards of Ruchi Soya Industries Limited and NCDEX Spot Exchange Limited.He is Chairman of National Skills Foundation of India (NSFI), a not-for-profit body primarily focused on the objective of skill building and development of vocational opportunities for India’s large but relatively “unskilled” workforce. Sanjeev is Chairman, Working Group on Agriculture Marketing and Infrastructure Development for the Twelfth Five Year Plan (2012-2017) with Planning Commission of India. He is also Chairman Task Force on Food Security CII
