The annual Indian e-Retail Congress 2013 was held by Franchise India on Feb. 15 and 16 at The Claridges, Surajkund in New Delhi. Apart from providing a direct B2B engagement to many Indian leading e-retailers and retailers, the event also provided an understanding around how e-retail is re-writing and implementing new retail practices over traditional ones. The Indian e-Retail Congress 2013 led the participants to interpret the online consumption structure and connect with the e-retail business by engaging with Indian and global experts to understand the digital retail process. The event saw over 50 speakers from the industry share their insights and present working visionary strategies to help the e-commerce industry merge with the retail business. The event focused on topics such as introducing retail reinvention for an omni channel world, the changing consumer and the anatomy of his purchase, where the money banks are rolling in retail, the omni channel retail supply chain, the importance of the brand in the face of winning the price war, and why consumer intelligence is important.
