Yogic food restaurant chain Sattviko secures Rs 2 cr in angel funding

Sattviko, the popular modern sattvik food restaurant chain, has raised Rs 2 crore amount in angel funding from multiple investors that include CommonFloor.com's Co-founder, Sumit Jain; Xerox India's MD, Rajat Jain; and Samsung's Network Business VP, Sanjay Bhasin.

The recently turned one year old restaurant chain has received a rating of 4.1 on Zomato and currently operates from 4 locations in Delhi and Gurgaon.

The iInvestors have financed Sattviko to support its rapid growth. The Sattvik food restaurant chain aims to efficiently utilise the resources to diversify the wide range of products, increase the team, accelerate growth, expand further in India and extensively integrate best taste and technology enabled services for their customers.

Additionally, Sattviko has made its food- delivery service more easy, accessible and technologically driven for its customers. The feature has been designed to help customers to just whip out their phones, easily order food from Sattviko and have it delivered right at their doorstep.

Prasoon Gupta, Founder and Managing Director, Sattviko, said, "We are delighted at the investment by Sumit Jain, Rajat Jain and Sanjay Bhasin. We endeavour to add new dimensions to Sattviko like new food, technology and delivery, in newer cities."

Sattviko serves delicious modern food with the benefits of Yoga. A venture of alumni from IIT, Taj Hotels and Mc Donald's, Sattviko aims to redefine healthy dining, not just in India but across the globe.

In 2013, Prasoon and Ankush decided to create a global restaurant chain that is truly Indian and solves the problem of junk food. We blended the benefits of Yoga with global cuisine and launched Sattviko Restaurants in 2014.

The food is light, nutritious, and easy to digest and always freshly prepared. The foods chosen for this diet bring clarity and balance both internally in the body as well as externally in the universe. Rated 4.1 on Zomato, Sattviko has also been awarded as the best Debutant Restaurant Chain of India and currently operate from 4 locations in Delhi/NCR. The restaurant caters to more than 500 people everyday.
