Franzen Partners will offer development programs for the manpower requirements of all the businesses in the WTC network.
Verbind has entered into pact with Franzen/partners to promote concept of ‘Make in India’ through collaboration for trade and business development of companies with focus on Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs), start-ups, entrepreneurs and MNC’s.
As per the agreed terms, Franzen Partners will offer development programs for the manpower requirements of all the businesses in the WTC network. Both will work jointly for creating Brand INDIA through customized development programs for the Indian businesses and their requirements with focus on Innovation, Change and Technology.
Approximately 45 million SMEs in India contribute to around 40 per cent of India’s exports and close to 45 per cent of total manufacturing output. However, due to low-skill level and technology adoption, these SMEs are unable to compete globally.
“Franzen/partners have expertise in Change Management, Skill Development and Training, which is beneficial to the members of Verbind. Verbind, on the other hand, offers global networking platform across 100 countries for trade and business development. Both together shall create more synergies for local industry and also for the Dutch companies exploring to foray into the Indian market. Verbind shall also contribute by getting International Mentors and Access to International Markets, which would assist companies in expanding their business both in India and across the globe. The partnership is in the step of VERBIND’s commitment to its mission of promoting Brand India by promoting and assisting SMEs in becoming globally competitive and sustainable by inducing innovation, technology and adapting to the change ,” said, Khair Ull Nissa, Director, Verbind.
Marianne J. Franzen, Director, Franzen/partners, said, “To increase global economic value, sustainable change is necessary. In our experience, if you want to increase economic value for business and people on a global scale, your ability to embrace and manage change is a pre-condition. Irrespective of the sector, people need to gear up for change. Besides professional’s skills and an entrepreneurial attitude, a flexible mindset and the ability to think beyond daily operations is a must. We felt the need to translate our Dutch ‘body of knowledge’ and its way of conducting business for the Indian market, to better contribute to India’s organizational changes. Backed with the experience of reducing lead time for change and innovation processes for 11 different sectors in India, we recently developed a mobile App 'The Change Express®’. This App for change management integrates Dutch and Indian knowledge and experiences on Change Management. Together with Verbind, we will strive to boost the Indian market and help manage the way forward.’
This pact will also assist promotion of Franzen/partners’ business relations by joint alliance through cluster innovation center and digital platform of Verbind, which is a tool for online business and matchmaking.
Verbind is an independent not for profit organization committed to the growth of SMEs by offering international trade facilitation and global networking platform for exchange of ideas and information to foster international trade. Franzen/partners, strongly committed to the development of SMEs, develops & executes Management Development Programs through toolkit ‘The Change Express’.
